We are currently looking for a talented person to complement our top ranked Credit Research team in Stockholm. This team is part of Danske Bank’s global research team and also works closely with Debt Capital Markets (DCM). DCM is a product area with coverage across investment grade and high yield bonds. We at Danske Bank act as an advisor and intermediary in the Nordic corporate bond market, benefitting both issuers and investors.
Here at Danske Bank in Stockholm we aim to provide professional services to our clients, while also having fun at work and a reasonable work / life balance. We see diversity and inclusion as a prerequisite for maintaining a professional quality, and a healthy, agile and innovative work place. We are very proud of our culture and believe our collaboration across product areas is key to our success.
An essential part of the daily work in the Credit Research team is to produce and present credit analysis of Nordic companies to local and international investors. Presently, the local Credit Research team in Stockholm consists of three people, part of a larger team based in Copenhagen and Oslo.
Your main tasks will be to produce regular and ad-hoc company analyses and credit strategy reports together with the other senior analysts in the Credit Research team. Another important work task will be to support the team in developing and analysing relevant environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in the industries we cover. This is currently an important development area in the Credit Research team in DCM and a field where we consider ourselves as a market leader.
You will analyse companies’ quarterly and annual reports as well as industry trends and based on the analysis formulate opinions on bond pricing. The work tasks also include analyses of various market data such as pricing of corporate bonds, issue volumes and various company specific factors and key figures. Together with the rest of the Credit Research team you will be jointly responsible for presenting and communicating credit related events to bond investors, issuers and other internal and external counterparties. As Danske Bank has significant business in the rest of the Nordics and across Europe, the role includes some traveling.
We are looking for a person with good analytical skills and with a genuine interest in both financial markets and analysis of the companies whose debt is traded on the financial markets. It is important that you enjoy team work and that you contribute to our positive working atmosphere. At the same time we assume that you also have a professional mindset and creativity and like to take initiative. We would like you to share our target of being a Nordic market leader in credit research and regard it as a stimulating opportunity. Since you will have customer interaction and relationships, it is also important that you enjoy giving presentations.
You have recently completed or just about to complete your Master’s degree in finance, economics or engineering. A certain knowledge of financially relevant mathematics and programming is preferable. Prior experience of financial analysis – credit research, equity research or other relevant areas – is a positive but no prerequisite. Deep proficiency in both Swedish and english is essential, and other languages would be an advantage. You need to enjoy working in a high paced environment with varying tasks and, at least periodically; under strong pressure with tight deadlines.
We give you personal and professional development
